Skat 15, 15.5, 13-16, 14-17, 8-16, 9-17 are acceptable. Use the lower pitches if you are over 120lbs, any larger will kill accelleration. Solas ka-sc-a 13-18 is very good. These are all old props that are no longer produced. You can get a new Solas ka-sc-i 13-18 and have it pitched down if needed.

120 pounds! Who weighs under 120...? If you do please feed yourself! ok if I weigh 185 what pitch should i be looking for...?

i run a 15.5 on my 550 and im 210 lbs. that should give you good pop out of the hole. i was looking in my buddies 650 but i couldn't see any markings on it though. the 13-18 is a good all around prop in most cases. I can check at the local shop to see what they have in the case (old stuff) and let you know what they have available.

solas 13-18. It's not bad (my edges are torn to hell) but I would like to pitch down a skat impeller for some more low end.

I just did a motor swap in mine but when it had the 650 motor in it I ran an 8/16 and I loved it for the bottom end.

I pulled the impeller after Rock & ride & found it was a (bent) 16.5 with a stock motor. I put in a new 15.5 and took it out today. i picked it up for 50 bucks (new) out of the local shops old stock, it rides totally different now. better out of the hole and seems to hold a turn better. oh, and i'm a 210 lbs rider

Yes, more power would help on that prop. I had the same in an X2, did not come alive until I ported the motor.

Soo.... I am hearing alot of 15.5 being said for low end snap out of the hole. Not very interested in top end but low end is key for what we do. Am I right with going with a 15.5 .......?

With the 15.5 you limit yourself on future mods,with the cutback SXR prop you are good to go with future mods including 750 swaps.

Im not looking to mod this ski out very much. I just need to give it some more snap on the bottom and then its my ladys. She is only 115lbs and hauls ass on this ski already. And i buy a brand new super jet! What impeller is going to give me nice bottom end without scratching too much top end pull......?

It means that the impeller has to be modded to fit into the 650 pump,material is removed from the back and front of the impeller.Bottom end snap like you would not believe and it pulls well on top also.

That sounds like an interesting option but a straight bolt up will work just fine for me right now. 15.5....?
