how do i get this stock impeller off ? i can't budge it an inch !!!

A little bit of heat from a propane torch should do the trick.

It's let handed threads
Right=loose
Left=tighten
Oh yeah some long wrenches,pipe to slip over wrench (leverage) and a vice will also help.
Fought with mine to !

PB BLASTER spray it so its get to the tread-ed part then let it sit for a day and spray time to time.

if you can find Zepreserve, it works better than pb blaster, but even with those 2 and heat, i had to cut mine off!!!

so do i put the splines of the shaft directly into a vise, and crank it down as hard as i can to stop the shaft from spinning ?

Only if you want to ruin that expensive drive shaft. :banghead: Do like SFL said and get the proper tools before you break somthing and really get into your pocket. I have had to get some props pretty hot and use a 3ft bar on a big wrench to get them to pop. I always go back with antiseize compound when installing the new one. Good luck.

When I put my new impeller on I put a little marine grease on the threads, I never have any problems changing them out now.
