Jet skiing interests me… I'm with some people who have lived here, so they know the places around us to eat.
Who rides Ocean Side and how do I know if they'll be riding?

San Diego's a big place so no matter what you're into you can find it here. If you're mainly interested in checking out the Oceanside ski scene, then like mentioned you can show up any Saturday around 7am at the Oceanside launch ramp. Just a heads up though, Oceanside is not a viewer friendly riding spot. Unfortunately you can't show up, BS with everyone, get to know them and take turns on their skis, as the spot we ride in the surf is several miles away from where we launch. You cannot access the beach were we ride without a ski because it's on a Marine Base. If you do not have access to a ski then hanging out in the parking lot while everyone launch's may not be what you're looking for.

As far as who's riding, there's almost always someone riding on Saturday mornings. Here's the Oside crew thread link.

Even if there's no activity on that thread there will most likely be someone riding, the majority of the guys who ride Oside do not post on this site. However, this Saturday, 12/7/2013 may be an exception as the surf forecasts are calling for very little to no surf at all so there may not be anyone riding. Most guys would rather save their gas $ for when the surfs a little bigger.

whats not to do there? If I could live anywhere in the country and get all my fam to move with me,that would be the spot id live.

So if I could get onto the Marine base, though, there's beach access I could watch from…?

Yes, you can park at Del Mar Beach (The Military private beach, Not to be confused with the Horse racing Del Mar Beach which is 20 miles to the south) and walk north about 1/2 mile to the place every one rides. The Military will not allow cameras on the beach
