Installing X2 Drivetrain

I have the motor and pump out of my X2 at the moment and curious to know the correct procedure for reinstalling everything so the pump, driveshaft and motor are lined up correctly. I’m a Yamaha guy so I’m fairly new to Kawasaki’s so any tricks or things I should or shouldn’t do are welcomed.

There doesnt ever seem to be much adjustment for Kawi skis. On all the X2s I have built, you install the pump and seal the shoe to the hole, install the driveshaft carrier bearing, with a little sealant behind it, slide in the driveshaft, install the motor, and you are done. Once you set the motor in, you can check the midshaft alignment and shim if necessary, but I have never used any shims for an X2.

I didn’t have to remove the shaft bearing so it should be straight forward. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. Thanks!
