Just wondering if there would be any interest.
This is a Danish product, that i think is very awesome. Is a one-life unit, which means, that its potted (no need for external power) its shock and waterproof. It will hold standby up til 10 years or 14.000 tracks.
The product is 25mm i diameter, 200mm long, weighs 136grams.
Once i activates the unit, you will have need a subscription for the data transmission (down to 3 usd pr. month)
Only downside about GPS, is that they do now handle carbon very well, but with this compacts unit, and the all-in-one waterproof solution, there should others places to put the tracker.
The retail price is directly converted 215 usd, i don't know if it would be cheaper, if sold in the US.

Wow, that seems like the perfect solution to securing some things. I'd be interested in some feedback from someone that's used one!

Good for theft purposes, but I dont think it will work underwater... couple it with a retriever bag or buoy and you may have some piece of mind...

I would be interested... For my car. The hard wired locators are too easy to cheat. Drive onto hauler, disconnect battery, drive away. Happened to my neighbor.

They work perfect, App for iPhone and I'm pretty sure android as well. I'm not selling these, just found them as an option for the jetski. No they won't work under water, for sunken skis :/These are pretty accurate, i think its around 50 meters or so. Ive currently got another product loaned, for testing. but this is not as accurate and only transmits GPS signal every 12 hours.
If some one is interested in these i could bring some with me to World finals?

If they are really good for 50 meters you have a great item there. I believe they are waterproof to 50 meters, but will the GPS still work at 50 meters below water is the real question?

Well i don't know what they claim to be the accuracy, so 50 meters was just us messing around testing the unit. They are waterproof, but they cant send signal under water. I asked them as for some kind of beacon to sunken skis, this is not an option.
