Surfriding Irene nose damage

This is compliments of some backies during irene on Saturday. It is going to be matrix ish looking once done. Then maybe put some rocker in it this winter. Just want to get it back and operational.

True! I kept riding, i was on a roll! Was pulling a bunch of 1 footer backies so wasn't quiting.

I had it on me but didn't use it. Made it back in under own power. Haven't been towed in a long time.

No problem ... Scott S can repair that on a school night and he has references . I think Jim " thrill hill " is one of his repeat satisfied customers . Rocker that thing ! section it and glass it .

Do you still have the nose? You can glue it back on using west systems. I did it twice on my old hull!!!!!!! Quick and easy to fix. Lay a few layers on top and bottom for support.

nope, it fell off. I was just planning on putting a few layers over the nose because it will probably happen again. This winter i will get the real work on it done.

Well this is my first attempt at glassing the nose so hopefully it turns out all right. Still need to add some where the bow eye was and clean up the excess.

if youre going to matricize/rickterize the nose make sure you add a spray deflector...

Nah...just going to get broken again anyway. Will do the real deal repair when i rocker the nose this winter. Glassing is messy!
