Is 32:1 too much mix for a Lady Ridden Ported 760?

Now that I have X-Scream power and need to mix my oil at 32:1, I'm just wondering if i have to mix seperate fuel for my ported 760 or if i can run the same mix in both?

I run 40:1 in it now so it's not that much more oil is it? Other than fouling plugs what else would be the result of too much oil in the mix. Keep in mind that the wife's riding the 760 now so it won't exactly be getting ridden as hard as it used to.

i run my ported 760 at 44:1 and it seems a little rich.

If you're breaking the engine in then it's fine but I wouldn't run at that consistency indefinitely. I run about 45:1 give or take a little.

I would just run the 32:1 stuff and call it good, gap the plugs while you are at it.
If it loads up too much than bring a gallon of straight fuel and do some in tank mixing.

I wouldn't want to have separate fuel jugs and have the good motor get the bad stuff by mistake.

Yup, that is my fear too.

I'm betting she fouls up way too often at 32:1. She rides good but she's not on the throttle enough to burn out any excess oil.

I have been running 32:1 as recommended on my TS 771 with quicksilver, its a mineral oil and burns cleaner. I also have ported 760 which we run between 40:1-44:1 which works great.

32:1 on my 771 as well with no issues at all and never fouled a plug... i believe he recommends that on all setups

Any non-synthetic TWC-3 oil works.

I pucked up a few gallons on Ranger oil before it got re-stickered as West Marine brand. It was like $20 for 2.5 gal and it's works just fine.

I have heard that Chuckie says something to the effect that he likes Quicksilver because Mercury makes Quicksilver and has the best warranty in the business, is that true?

In tank mixing = recipe for disaster (for some).

For some, just waking up in the morning can be a disaster.

I think the OP knows how to cut some 32:1 with a splash of pure gas.
Believe it or not, these motors can run quite happily on 100:1.

maybe direct injection 2 strokes. i wouldn't run anything lighter than 50:1

I do 40:1. sometimes penzoil marine, sometimes quicksilver marine. depends which one is cheaper

Which quicksilver are you guys using? Outboard Premium? Premium Plus? Quicksilver PWC?

Quicksilver Premium Outboard $25 for 1 gal at Walmart

I ran my 701 Ltd ski on 32:1 with no problems, along with all my XS powered Ski's. The New XS1000 will be on this same set up. Now all my motors run avgas & 32:1... That way I can't screw up & use the wrong gas
