I heard that the vibration caused by the factory pipe can be bad for a stock head.
Is it important to have a girdle head with a factory b pipe?

I've never heard of that. I've been running a group k modified stock head with a B pipe for a few years with no issues.

ythe heads not the prob. Ite the intake side of the cylinder base that is prone to cracking.

Yep which is why you run a griddle kit which has studs coming from the head to the cases for support.

mines actually the 7port cast.but they seem to run alot cooler than the billet. It's the billet rad t crank that's the star.... Not to mention what I paid for it... He he he
