Other Is it my phone/network or is Tapatalk pretty much useless lately?

If I take too long to type anything out or browse before posting, I have to copy my text, back out completely and reopen to post.

I am not sure if its my network dropping my session or tapatalk timing out? Is anyone else having this happen?

I am using a Motorola Droid on Verizon.

It's been a real crap shoot since the last update. I get lots of "can't connect to forum" errors.

I know there is a new update for the server side of TAT, I'll update it when I get a chance and actually remember it.

I wonder if we can roll back to a previous version...

For what it's worth, a couple of other forums are giving me the same issues.
And as always, Tapatalk can be really slow in opening up the forum or any post. If it says "Receiving" for more than 10 seconds, I hit back and try again.
I still like it much better than a mobile browser.

Darrin must have applied the update, it seems much better this morning and faster than ever.

The widget on my desktop changed as well.

Nope, didn't do a thing. We had a bunch of friends over and I never even thought about it.

Interesting, my revision hasn't changed but my widget has. The only other thing I did was to clear the cache on the app. It was only up to 126KB.

The bad news is, it was a me problem.... the good news is, i fixed it all by myself, lol.

it was not a "you" problem - I've been having problem with TAT on the X for weeks. It ALWAYS tells me "no new posts" - so I stopped even trying to use TAT on here.

after I saw your thread this morning I tried again - and it works like it's supposed to.

I didn't think much about the no new posts but I had that as well. I was more concerned with the connection failures and processing.

While I have the attention of tapatalk users, anyone know how to post pics from a phone? It uploaded to the forum and gave me a filename but I can't seem to get the pic to show or find where it loads it too.

I know it has been covered already but it didn't show up in the limited search function on tapatalk.

I hit More, Upload from Gallery, picked my pic, select To Forum or whatever it is, then small, then hit Inline and it worked.

Did that one but didn't hit 'inline', just hit done. BTW, that's one of the columns from our furnace building that burned back in March. I think it's a 16"er and the heat caused it to buckle.

Not sure why but I am not getting a done option after the upoad stage, it returns me to the text input screen with submit, more or discard at the bottom.

Do you have any pic accounts or apps running in the background that may be handling it?
