Is it possible to buy an old carbon fibre hull for less then $2,000?

Yeah that’s the one. It’s a nice hull. I live in Missouri but am from California. If I’m ever back home i’ll Give you call. Pm if you want some more pics of the inside or what not. It was only a 4 hour drive to get it, so I had to buy her.

Dont get too blinded on a "old carbon hull". There is alot of variables. Old style/type hulls, often dont have the same "specs" like newer. Rocker, wider, setback engine ect.
Also it matters if it properly done, just wet layup carbon is not the thing you want.
In other words. a newer vac/infused glass hull, can and will often be better, stronger and lighter than SOME old carbon hulls.
But like stated above, dont buy something to cheap, you will regret it.
I think you should save up some more, around 3-4000 usd to buy a decent hull, you will be MUCH happier with doing so. (trust me, i've been there)

Then there is a decent designed hull i.e. IMHO the BOB G3 that had some quality control issues that can be devestating

My cheep carbon hull has been reinforced a few times I believe. It’s also on that Line of being old but not super old. It’s a 2011.
