Is It worth it to put a pipe on a 750 sxi pro? we have noticed it is really sluggish compared to my sxr and are looking for more power :shooter3:

the alternative is selling the 750 and buying another sxr. all comments welcome

my sxi pro with factory wet pipe has the power to keep up with a stock sxr but i would need to re-extend my rideplate and put my hull extensions back on to be able to hang on long enough.

my friend can run full throttle in any condition water and stays hooked up while i have to jump and plant the pump on the top of every wave to keep in control. i get worn out too fast to keep up after about 200 yards (rough water) its a constant fight when i am at full throttle.

when i had an extended stock plate and hull extensions i could stay hooked up a lot better but it was no good for jumping and the hull would rock back and forth on calm water at high speeds.

I can definitely jump higher though the narrower back of the ski lets it sink in a lot better and i get a better launch angle and have more power(normal plate and no extensions)

Yeah, I also owned a 750 SXI PRO. It was definatley my least favorite ski, just everything about it was off it seemed. Sluggish, needs an aftermarket ride plate, handling is just awful.

Not complaining because I did pick the ski up for 150 bucks complete. But it was time to move on after 1 summer on it.

More Power, Better Handling, SXR for you!

The 750 handles great in IMO. I perfer it over the RN although i think the 701 is a way better engine.

I have never rode a SXR so i have no advice on that. I would say keep it "battle of the generations" like strictly said.

Wait to you ride a SXR. It fixed everything wrong with the 750 hull and you still turn the crap out of.:woot: and a sxr motor in limited form will walk all over a limited 701:smokin:
