So, I blew my steering cable:chairshot:

Is the Blowsion "Heavy Duty" steering cable Really heavy duty?

Is there a cheaper alternative to the $94 OEM? I have found them on e-bay but after shipping........Its almost the same.

Also, why did this happen. What should I change so this doesn't happen again.

I am running UMI (2nd hole) w/ an Xmetal pole.

Yeah, Parker Yamaha has them for a good price. Get the GP800 / Blaster II steering cable. Much thicker and you'll have a tough time breaking it. I'm getting one for my '08.
