Super Jet Is this 6m6 case still good?

When cases get knicks in them like this are they shot? Can you smooth them out and keep going? Same question for heads. Please see pics below.

people trench and epoxy cases all the time for porting, so i would imagine its possible. But, probably not worth it being 6m6 cases. I would find some 61x cases and put them together with those. I see that blue Square in your avatar, that used to be here in Georgia. That thing is Immaculate.

You could smooth that out and use loctite bearing retainer to fill the gaps. That would likely be the last time the cases get split though.
