650/X-2 Is this a good deal?

been wanting an x2 for some time now and this just came up on craigslist:


87 X2, runs great, rode it this weekend. Takes on water through the shaft seal. Has bilge with exterior switch. New turf. Oil Block off so it is premix. No Trailer

his asking price is 700

I am assuming he is talking about the mid-shaft bearing? how much is this to replace and how difficult or easy is it?

I'd buy it. but I cant find them locally any cheaper than like 1200

i have a custom modded one available right now... can be sold stock or modded

I usually keep the X2s complete n not part them out... 650sx's i part out all day long.
