that aint the 96 or newer dual carb motor that hull came with. that 61x motor stock, has 60hp. with that protec pipe it might have 75hp. not big power by any means. that thing would never flip unless it was in the surf and the waves were 8'. if you knew how to roll already, you could probably roll it off a 4' boat wake. $3200 is about full bore retail on that thing and no deal. shortening a hull doesnt make it roll easier but it does make it ride like :):):):)! unless you weigh a buck and a nickel soaking wet.

haha I'm 130 soaking wet  and yeah i asked him about it and he said he pulled that motor out of a blaster. after i got to thinking about it, i thought wait a sec it should have dual carbs.

If you had $2500-$3000 what kind of a ski would you look for? i really just want to roll off a boat wake. i don't have the wallet to flip a ski just yet. plus i live on a private lake and a 701 is the biggest ski motor you can have.

Well get a JM 781 BB and just slap a 701cc sticker on it and play stupid. :D Seriously, I would just look for a deal. If it's meant to happen it will come your way. I was looking for a ski like crazy last year and I finally gave up. I just decided to look on craigslist one day in September and bam, a 2500$ ski for 1500. I was the first guy to get to the sellers house and I scooped it for 1300. It's been a dream since then and has a decent amount of stuff on it. A SN SJ with a 61x and a b pipe would be a good ski. With your price range you may even be able to find a rn with a 61x/62t. Do some port work and an ada head and you are on your way.

ha that guys also 5' 3" haha. no all joking aside I'm not looking for a big bad ski. i don't have the wallet for it. just want to do nose stabs and rolls. The 550 just isn't cutting it.
Look for a SJ. But try and find one with a b pipe. I would be cautious about buying one that has been cut since you don't know how good of a job the person did. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6GwF7Dt3gg There is stock sj with stock exhaust doing a barrel roll. SO you don't have to have some big bad ass ski.
