I am blown away by the methods used to ship these crazy expensive engines and components. Packing peanuts, bubble wrap and cling wrap?
Proper packaging equipment seems like a necessary investment when sending out $5k+ packages.
This was actually the 2nd layer of boxes. First, the motor was wrapped in about 6" thick of shrink wrap, then wrapped in bubble wrap, next, it was put in a small really thick cardboard box. From there it was put in a large box lined with 3" thick adhesive foam all the way around it, and stuffed solid with shipping peanuts.I am blown away by the methods used to ship these crazy expensive engines and components. Only with slickrick22 or Mdavies-02 on it. I'm too old and too fat to do that stuff...I better see a flip this year....
