I am blown away by the methods used to ship these crazy expensive engines and components. Packing peanuts, bubble wrap and cling wrap?

Proper packaging equipment seems like a necessary investment when sending out $5k+ packages.

This was actually the 2nd layer of boxes. First, the motor was wrapped in about 6" thick of shrink wrap, then wrapped in bubble wrap, next, it was put in a small really thick cardboard box. From there it was put in a large box lined with 3" thick adhesive foam all the way around it, and stuffed solid with shipping peanuts.
