Jet Pro Exhaust 650sx

Maybe one of you experts may be able to help me. I have an old Jet Pro exhaust with the stainless steel header pipe. Like most all steel header pipes mine has cracked and leaks water at the manifold flange. I might be able to have it welded but it will crack again for sure. So I am looking for an aluminum header pipe that will closely match to work with my expansion chamber. The problem I am having is that the coupler diameter is 3" on my Jet Pro Header. I found a Coffman's on ebay but the coupler diameter is 2 3/8. Do you all have any suggestions of what might work? The Jet Pro looks to have a very similar bend as the Coffman's. Any help would be appreciated. Oh I have called Jet Pro and they have nothing available. Thank you all for your time.

all the jetpro head pipes i have ever seen were the frankenstien welded up cast aluminum type. that coffman head pipe aint going to work. i just tried a 3" coupler on it and its way too big to tighten down. if you put the 2 3/8 coupler on it first , then the 3" fits

Thanks for your response. My head pipe looks very similar to the Mariner head pipe. So do you think that if I used a 2 3/8" piece of coupler to "shim" to 3" would it work?

i think it would definatly make up the difference in coupler sizes. i've used double couplers before to change tubing size and some seadoo models actually do use a rubber reducer to change pipe size. i know somebody sells silicone couplers on ebay that are 2 different sizes. they may have one that goes from 3" to 2.5" that might work
