650/X-2 jet pump resealing?

i just swapped my jet pump out and was wondering do i have to use a special silicone to seal it to the hull or could i just pick some up at a local auto part store?

I prefer permatex clear. Most automotive stores have it.

I use permatex black RTV. Really any waterproof RTV silicone will work, just don't go to cheap you do get what you pay for.

I use a clear silicone from McMaster

I use the stuff in the tubes you put in the caulk gun from Home Depot. No issues yet. However, if you can afford better, to that route.
