I'll be ordering a 718 kit this week from Chris.. I'm curious on who's running one and what are your thoughts? I've ordered parts from him in the past, as most of you know he's a good dude, straight shooter and he always makes time to answer questions.. Thanks..

It's a ported motor from a smart builder. It's gonna rip HARD compared to your stock porting! I have friends that have JM motors and I haven't heard anything bad about them. Porting is one of the most noticeable mods besides a pipe. I couldn't ever go back to a stock cylinder after having my eyes opened to porting!

You can get a crazy aggressive hit with porting. How the porting is done affects that, I've ridden several ported 718s, unfortunately not by blue but they all had a unique character. My motor is a 718 riva race ported (mild port for wot use) case and cyl,ada head 210 psi on 105 octane, light flywheel, stock 38s, mod chamber b pipe, atp epix... Pretty crazy mid range. Not quite the violent hit of a full freestyle port but a fun motor for all kinds of riding.

I have about 40 gallons through mine this season all I can say is buy it you will love it. All quality parts and ported by Blue who knows what he is doing.

Don't wait buy it now...

Thank you all for your support. Im glad to see that everyone is happy with their motors and topends. We are very fortunate to have such a following of customers and friends. 5 seasons on ISOLDOUT's motor is very impressive. That says allot for a dependable performance 2 stroke motor. Thanks guys.

Ive never heard a bad review. And 5 seasons i easy to get, proper build up will run for years and years. Look at the mid 80's kawis that are still running OEM.

I have a TPE motor and it rips in my glass hull. I think flatware in a carbon hull a JM motor would be a great setup. I really want to try a JM 781 w/ PFP and 155 in a carbon dvx or even a havoc/hurricane c3. These motors have good power and plenty of power for the average rider and even someone who has been riding for some time. And can always stroke it later on!!
