Jetski/Dirt Bike Trailer conversion

Needed a quick way to haul my bike and my 2 skis to FL. This is what I came up with. I bolted down (2) 2x10's to the trailer with (4)1/2" bolts each. Then installed a HF motorcycle wheel chock for the front wheel. I used (2) tiedowns to the back frame. And (2) tiedowns to the handlebars. Seems to be on there very good. Does this seem sano/safe? I plan on adding (2) more tiedowns, to go around the bottom of the wheels...securing them to the boards.

my double stand up trailer is a half flat deck and 1 set of bunks. i use it for everything, picked up a deep freezer just the other day and never took the x2 off.

Thanks guys, does it hurt the suspension to leave the tiedown straps cranked down for an extended period of time?
Yes. Your springs will get sacked out faster and unless you bleed the air out of your forks after it's cranked down your seals may start weeping faster.

Yeah, they say its not good to keep the forks cranked down for a long time. I bought a fork brace from Rockymountainatv.com . They are on sale now for $11.99.

Nice 11.99 I have to check that out, I use a piece of 2X4 on our bikes and have been wanting a couple of those braces.

I've done similar to a single trailer. 1 2x10 is enough, but you have to be super careful. Never thought of putting tire guides.

Thanx for posting!!!
