Have you guys changed your jetting when swapping out from Bpipe to power factor pipe?

I did fatten it up at first and found it too rich. I backed off to B-Pipe jetting and it was fine.

Same here.

Be sure your compression is on a safe level like 180-185 for pump gas :).
I was @ 210 psi(no wot runs) and it will kill the piston by detonation very fast.

I'm keeping everything the same. I'm running ~180-190 compression. I've been tempted to go up but keeping more gas on hand that I have to elsewhere has prevented me from making that jump. I'm planning on keeping the same jetting on a set of 46's but wanted to have extra jets on hand if u guys were finding the need for more fuel bottom, but it sounds like I can make up for the needs with dialing out the screws.

Go on Matt - could you elaborate and educate me - or could you send me details of your curve ?

I run 99 Octane 100% of the time - or do you mean race fuel ?

If you're detonating with the fuel you're using, it's not high enough in octane. That's all I meant.

That's because a drypipe of any sort will rev higher, run hotter, and need higher octane fuel on an otherwise identical setup with a b-pipe.
I run the same curve with the PFP that I did with the B-Pipe, but my fuel octane was a bit overkill to begin with - so I am still fine. If someone's setup is on the ragged edge of pump gas with a B-Pipe, then adding the PFP without other changes will destroy pistons, yes.

^^ This is all true from personal experience. I burned some pistons when I switched. Also the pipe really likes higher compression (according to the guys at pfp). They said for my 781 I should be between 195 and 210 to get the pipe to come alive, and it did. But smoked the pistons in the process. My jetting was fine, but I didn't have enough octane. I'm now at 200 psi, same jetting as b-pipe, but running sunoco 110 and 91 pump gas mixed 50/50 and pistons look happy. And the power difference from 165 psi to 200 psi is friggin fun!

Hmmm. Good info. Matt and NV. I might grab some AV gas to be safe. I'm running 30 degrees advance and pulling back at 5500.
