Jetting Recommendation

Need a starting point for jets.
Currently have a 46 Mikuni SBN w/2.0 NS (20psi pop off), 115 low, 150 high.

Motor is a bored (84mm) and ported 61x, stock crank, Ada Head with 37cc domes, aftermarket reeds, and a RRP carbon pipe.

Any help would be great. Thanks

61x bottom end? hows it run now?

I think I was running about the same with a tnt pipe instead of the RRP with 120 150

Thanks. Its a completely fresh build for an MX1. Have no idea how this will run. Hopefully good, as access to the carb is a pain in this hull.

With the exception of the pipe and the ski, I've tuned two stand-up skis with a similar setup but running a Limited B-Pipe and NOT a lay-down, try this jetting to start:

SBN46, WetJet intake, 61x/61x, B-pipe limited, ada head, freestyle ported, MSD enhancer, h2o waterbox:

Pilot jet 135
2.0ns/80g
Main Jet 155
L1.25 turns
H1 turn

In my notes, one of the skis I tuned still had a slight stumble off idle, and that ski ran better with a 65g spring with all else the same above.

With a laydown pipe I'd suspect you might need to increase your high jet, and possible lower your low jet (As a B-pipe requests more down low and less up top). Start with the 155 and do a plug chop.

You'll also find with this setup the engine may idle better at about 1 turn on the low screws - which is more important on a sit-down. Start with 1.25 and go down from there.

Also with a bigger boat (MX1) your mileage may vary.
