Looks like it's jetting specs advice week here on X-H2O.com!
I'm looking for some ideas where to start my jetting for this new motor set up I have for my new roundnose.
Here are the engine specs:
Dual YAM OEM 44mm carbs on stock manifold w/ OEM flame arrestors
62T cases
RIVA SS ported 61X cylinder w/ 82.50mm Wisecos(Bore by Group K)
ADA girdle head with 2 sets of domes: 35cc(est. 185 psi) and 33cc(around 200 psi) Not sure which set I will use with the SS porting, probably the 33cc using minimun 100 octane fuel.
MSD enhancer
RIVA(RAD) 61X alum charging flywheel
FPP B-pipe
FPP water box
V-force Delta II reed/cages
I used to run this RIVA SS ported cylinder on my square with 6m6 cases and Pro-tec taperbored dual 38's with b pipe, OEM 61X CDI w/Pro-tec rev limiter mod, Jetinetics flywheel and carbon tech reed petals.
So you can see I've made quite a bit of changes for the better. The way I took advantage of the massive power this cylinder makes from the mid to top end range was all in the pump/impeller set up. To make it freestyle worthy I pitched up(or pithed down? lol) using a Skat old skool big hub setback by IMPROS 10/18 impeller with a WWolf cone. It gave me some excellent bottom end that way on my square, plus the mid and top were great too!
I now have a 13/15 Solas concord w/3mm setback I'm gonna try too and I have no idea how this is gonna go...lol
Just want to get the motor running good and right for now.. I can play with the pump stuff later.
A good friend suggested :
125 main
120 pilot
95 g spring (dull silver)
2.0 n/s
1 and 3/4 turns out on each to start with
