300/440/550 JS 550 upgrades

Hey guys, i have a 88 js550. Any ideas on how i can add some more power to it? What parts and where is a good site online that sells modified ski parts for the 550. Thanks

pipe, manifold, water box, head, grate, prop and PORT IT.

there are a lot of little things too but that is where most of the power is.

we have lots of aftermarket 550 parts. new & used.

currently have a used factory pipe, 1/2 pipe complete with manifold
used ocean pro 44mm intake manifold
used jetnetics light flyhwheel
used cut heads

new - sbn 44 carbs, flame arrestors, primer kits, solas impellers, scoop grates, quick steer plates, handle bars, grips, throttles, nose braces, pole springs, all gaskets, and more.

Please dont burn me, im still learning...does all the 550 parts work with the 440js? Sorry not trying to thread jack, just wanted to ask since watcon.com seems to have a lot of 550 parts.

yes they are the same motor for the most part. the 550 just has larger pistons

Dont forget about the 550 reed engines. Those are different than the 440's
