I believe it is from the OEM foam shrinking. the foam is basically glued to the sides of the hull when it is poured in. as it shrinks it "sucks" in some. my old 97 was like that.

She is a great ski not quite done with her yet, so far 62t raider motor bpipe mod chamber msd cdi, solas I prop,worx pump stuffer/ top loader, worx extended ride plate. Ada head is on its way she is shaping up real nice.
it was a good ski she ran pretty damn good wish I never let her go!! That was my 1st ski take good care of her!!
that's awesome don't worry I will take good care of her.she is my baby. And I still have my first ski, 1986 kawi x2 it's getting ready for a Yamaha power plant soon.
