I just recently picked up an x2 off a friend for $400. Its a 1990 with a westcoast head and pipe also the stock waterbox has been drilled out. it also has the oil block off plate. im having some problems because it seems to load up with fuel and foul plugs if you fall off a few times. this ski likes to be ran full out all the time and it has no bottom end at all. i heard it may need a 44mm carb but was wondering if this is the problem before i go out and buy one.

The carb needs to be tuned and possibly rebuilt, its set way too rich on the bottom end and is flooding the motor and fouling plugs. It doesn't *need* a 44, just a good tune on the carb you have. A SBN44 would be a good upgrade though.
