Hey guys, I just got home after another great freeride. I was impressed with the Krash Ski display. Let me know what I should know about theses Skis. I'm impressed with what you get for the money as a turn key ski. Fill me in on the good/bad/ugly.

Is the footrocket really very freestyle? Seemed kind of heavy the one I seen and I didn’t get to ride it yet. I hear they are good in surf

Hovewer, i really like the concept and also the design of the Krash RTP skis - and i really do wish them succes with their concept!
I like the concept as well. I have built my ski's in the past but I barely have time to get on the water. Building a ski is out of the question these days.

Tim, If you could find all the parts. Fresh Motor, New cables, starter, bendix and good ebox, You would work on setting up a hull just a few hours a week, just work when you can on it.......... Once you have the pump and motor aligned, it is a piece of cake. The turf is already done.......

^Negative. Unless you get one with the pump shoe already installed and none of the bolt holes are stripped. It is all the little crap that is time consuming. On mine I had to find and drill the water box and battery mounts as they where fiber glassed over. Line up and drill the holes for steering etc. And everything that came pre-installed was loose, so you will need to touch every part with a wrench at some point. (should do this on any new to you ski) What some of these rdr skis are going for used is hard to beat though.

Guess I got spoiled with my Edge!!!!!!!!! Disregard what I said, Quinc has been thru all this.

And you do not want one with a Krash pump shoe installed, as they are specific for Krash pumps.

Tim, I cannot speak to the fully built ready to ride Krash skis, but I can tell you I have been beating the hell out of my Footrocket since 2013... backflips into the sandbar, massive flat landed backflips etc. I do not have one stress crack or chip in my hull. They truly are a tough ski.

I did have to build mine however... Torrent 148 pump, Dasa 971 etc....

Having said that.... knowing the quality that Nick Barton has built into his skis, I would not hesitate to buy a full RTR krash ski.

just my 10 cents.
