Just picked up waveblaster 2 for back up ski

Just picked up this gem for 1k with trailer. All stock. Great compression and runs great. Wondering what are some good basic upgrades. Pipe, impeller pitch anything else just to make it a bit more fun to ride?

Throwing money at a B2 in performance or aftermarket mods will give you very little gain,... and honestly not worth the money.
More bang for your buck would be to sell off all of the 760 motor & elecs.
Drop in a Raider 1100 or GP1200 motor.

early last year i picked up a 97 wb2. they ride very nose heavy, the trim has been very useful on my 97 so if you find those parts at a good price i think they'd be worth picking up. having ridden the ski a bit now i can say i do see how money into the engine is like shoveling it into a pit, i can see how it just doesn't respond as well other similar skis. 701 industries does have nice kit for bars/quicksteer/steering suspension for the wb2 that looks nice...

leave it stock or go all out. I love mine and my old body can still handle the surf on it vs SJ or B1. I have one that is all stock and gives me no problems at all. This one every one rides and run good oil Kolts or amzoil so you don't smoke to much to keep the tree huggers away from you, then I have mine. 1105 tpe, 155 mag pump spring steering.

I have one as well I picked up in a package deal, bone stock. I planned on pulling the engine for a B1 or SJ but my wife talked me into keeping it. I happen to have a Factory pipe for a 760 I plan on installing this summer to try out. It is a nice ski to have around for those that can't ride a B1 or SJ. From what I read a B1 ride plate will fit a B2, not sure about the intake grate.
