Freestyle Kart tank

I am having some issues finding a kart tank that is over 8 Liters in the US. It seems that there are some on ebay that are smaller but nothing over 8. Anyone have any tips or hints on where to source one that is a little larger? If not, where is the best place to buy an 8Liter?

Depending on your needs, you could do a 550sx tank. If you want to turn it 90 degrees, I *think* the fuel fill from a x2 is the same thread as the fuel pickup. You can turn the tank sideways, install the fill on the side of the tank, and then put the gas cap on the original fuel pickup spot. I can double check when I get home from Daytona if you like.

X2 on the 550 tank if you can fit it. Holds around 4 gallons. Otherwise most Kart stores sell a 9.5L.

Oh, you can also have one welded out of aluminum or make one out of composite. Ethanol will eat the resin so you have to use a tank bladder or use ethanol free and vinyl ester resin (verify that befor doing it).

Can you fit a 3 gal Jazz tank? Jazz tanks I feel are far superior in construction quality.

Have you seen the new h20 designs power tank? It looks pretty nice and is priced reasonably.
