650/X-2 Kawasaki x-2 rebuild help needed and appreciated

so im rebuilding my 1990 kawasaki X-2. basically, from the hull up. im not really going for anything stock. I want it a lot faster than stock and a little louder! any HELP will be appreciated. im not sure what to upgrade to but for this new project Im interested in upgrading the: carb, high compession head, exaust pipe, waterbox, intake grate, ride plate.....im not sure what brand or certain part to get so any input is appreciated. and if there are any other good performance parts I didn't mention and may help please let me know.....I was also looking into handling/control since im going to have a more powerful ski.

I took pictures of pretty much everything and detailed everything as much as possible. Also, PWCtoday has probably the biggest, and most helpful X2 section.

hey! thank you for the help I just about read your entire pwc thread tonight about 24 pages lol it helped me a lot and gave me some new ideas which I really like. your thread honestly inspired me and got me pumped and excited to start up my build. awesome ski by the way.
