kawi 550 x 650 conversion and pump

Hey guys I purchased a POS 550. Motor was seized, electronics burnt, and pump cracked. I bought new 550 electronics but I just came accross a x2 650 with TL and a few other things locally. Will everything from a 650 x2 drop in to a 550? also does anyone have a pump for a 550? Any recommendations on pump and impeller? Any help is greatly appreciated

no its not drop in

You can purchase a billet converion plate thatll allow you to bolt the 650 into a 550 hull

keep in mind you will need an extremly high pitch impeller(19-20), which are very hard to come across.


I say just the 550 n just ride the X2

To get your 19 20 degree impeller, you can send your old 15 prop to the guys at Impros in the US and they can repitch it for you. I have a 300sx/750 conversion ski running a 20 degree sorted out by the boys at Impros. Give em a call mate and get that sucker in the water. You will also have to put your 650 electrics in as well.
