Kawi 650 SX Stator Specs

Hello H20, we just bought a 1988 Kawasaki 650 SX, ran great first 2 tanks of fuel. Now we’re dead in the water without a spark. I have tested the start/stop and have continuity, new spark plugs, new CDI for PWC.
Anyone able to help/provide the ohms for the stator wires connecting to the CDI and Regulator?

Your color code may vary so stick with me till the end

Brown to Brown :1.5 -2.3 ohms

Brown to Black Yellow :0.7 -1.3 ohms

In your schematic the two Brown lighting coil wires will be green instead of brown ,

Your other wires will be red and green for the charge coil , the black wire is always ground on either

More important than what it ohms out at is the AC voltage on the two charge coil wires at cranking speed , you need a minimum of 25VAC or it won't fire.

on the lighting coil wires brown to bronw you need about 38VAC at cranking speed.
