Kawi engine/yamaha 144 pump AM hull? Good/bad?

Dont know if this is the right section for this but I see alot of people doing AM skis on a yamaha platform but why not use a kawi 750/800 engine and a yamaha pump? Would it be similar performance using the larger yamaha pump or not as good? Just wondering what people think about this..?

yamaha has more bottom end, which makes them better for freestyle. kawi's have more top end, which makes them a better race engine. then if you feel like dumping a lot of money into these kawi's you have a more comparable motor...
