KDX VS DVX comparison

I've been meaning to do this for a while but I have been far to busy. Here is a comparison of my KDX 10mm 1100 and my wifes/mine DVX 10mm 900. Both skis are running all the same goods minus a few small tweaks in the dvx to make up the power difference. both have 155mags, TL, and PFP. My garage was extremely dirty at the time so this is what ya get lol.

IMG_8127.JPG 2 major changes from the DVX to the KDX are the tray and complete top deck. Also the fact the with the DVX you need to use there x-metal dvx pole which is pretty killer and very short. The footholds are moved forward in the DVX which really helps but takes a ride or 2 to get used to.

RTR weight of KDX is 231 (I will have to double check that) and the RTR weight of the DVX is 225. I can't stress how happy I am with both hulls and there quality. No signs of cracking in the carbon anywhere on the kdx and its had some hard riding done this year. The DVX only has one ride on it for me before the lakes froze over but needless to say I LOVE IT. A giant thanks to Keith Smith!

I wont be able to make Daytona this year. Im in a wedding in mexico unfortunately. Trust me I would kill to be there.

Riding the DVX you notice immediately how light it is. It pops unreal!!! The footholds being moved forward I find really helps in the rotation. I only have one ride on this hull so I cant say to much. And it was -20celcius so the motor was running very cold. cold enough that the expansion and contraction from the hot motor and the freezing water popped out my flywheel magnet. IMG_1909.JPG. Hopefully get some time on it this summer.

Riding the KDX was a HUGE upgrade from my xfr. My riding improved the very first ride! Dramatically. Ski pops great. Rides well across the lake. To be honest this is just an amazing hull for everything. I loved my rickter quality is absolutely insane. better then OEM, it was just to heavy for me.

Sweet writeup, much appreciated, especially the pics....cant wait to get my DVX

Thanks man! You'll love it. There absolutely beautiful. What are you going with in yours? you should let me know how yours rides. I have only got probably 40minutes on mine

Awesome skis, but your garage is so filthy I don't know how you sleep at night!:D

Its winter time and the wife always parks her dmax in the garage so its basically impossible to keep clean in the winter. I detect sarcasm but I'm a bit of a neat organized freak. lol
