ok so i have after market dual 44's with a k&n flame arrestor/air filter on my ski. if i wreck hard on the right side and the ski tips i sometimes get water in the cabs. it also happens if i submarine. is there a way to have a good looking intake system with out the water?

Not always, but i personalyl feal that stock arresotrs are the best way to go froma SJ. Covered up alot sit close to head, and still get nearly the same amount of air in....you'll notice alot of guys keeping stockers around
what if i dont have access to them. is there anything aftermarket

think he may have a 750 sx by his screen name. does the kein 38 fl arresters fit mikunin 44s?
Get 2 superjet stock boxes and just run one screen in each, they are the dryest by far.

K&n's are the worst by far. Proks are pretty good if you run prefilters but sometimes the tops get filled with water. Stay away from anything with a cloth filter as they get soaked with water.
where can i get proks or superjet stock boxes at. would the sj box fit my 93 750sx with dual 44's

two single stock OEM yamaha 44mm flame arrestors should fit on your setup. You could also look for two single 550sx flame arrestors. They are similar in design to a OEM yamaha flame arrestor

The old school Vortex Arrestors have about 3x the screen in them as Proks. They keep water out wayyyy better.
