You'll probably feel some power. But is it really worth it????

I had my hands on two of those pipes a year or two ago. My uncle gave me a crap load of 650sx and 300sx parts and whole skis. He told me that when his 300sx was up and running with a pipe, cleaned up ports, and manifolds port matched that it was faster than his basically stock 650sx. But thats not saying much.

ya

thats why i am prob going to pass on that pipe. so how much more weight would a 550 or a 650 add. and also would i have to get any thing modded like bedplate also i dont want to spend more that 300$ out of pocket fig. i can get 200 for the 300 engine so about 500$ can it be done for that. complete.

You have to build the plates to bolt it into the stock mounts,I also reccomend that you replace the tank with a shifter cart tank, exhaust can be done several different ways according to your preference.Take a look at the 300sx builds going on over at pwctoday,it will give you an idea of whats involved.

I have two 300SX's. One has a Group K port job, Kerker pipe (that I bought from Oxnard) and a chewed up impeller and the other is stock except for an aftermarket impeller. They ride about the same. I really need to install my new impeller in the piped one.

They are funny little skis. I let all my friends learn on them. One of the guys that works for me is about 120lbs and he can sub the he!! out of a 300SX. Once you learn to stay up on a 300Sx you can ride just about anything. They are so gutless that if you over commit there is no power to pull you back up.

I'd love to try a 650 powered 300SX, they are just so light and tossable.
