Knee brace?

Tore ligaments and cartilage in my knee while racing years ago and now am getting back into things and starting to push myself a bit free riding. This weekend jumping boat wakes I landed a bit off, foot got stuck in foothold and I tweaked my knee again. I seriously don't want to go through more of the same with the knee, anyone recommend a knee brace that restricts lateral movement of the knee without losing too much mobility?

I had knee surjury in 2004 from torn meniscus and have never been the same. I wore a carbon fibre brace that was fitted for my leg.


Still have a torn acl but they said it was still workable. Things will change when i turn 50.
