Anyone here launch their ski from a pier or bulkhead? Looking for ideas for maybe a ramp system with hand winch to get ski's in and out of the water, where the water level is approximately 3' lower than pier height. Would prefer system that can be removed so there isn't anything that stays in the water (salt water). Thinking about a ski dolly with winch connected to rails, but figured someone here might have already (been there, done that). Thanks.

You want to find a Jet rail. I use one to launch over a seawall. I built a frame under it, used a trailer axle that was bent so I narrowed it down and put a spare set of tires on it. Swift lift makes rail systems that might help. They are expensive & it’s a little hard to tell if they are still in business. Their jet lift beach carts have been all sold out for quite some time now.
