launching ski's in port a, tx

is it legal to launch ski's off the beach anywhere around port anransas, tx? if not, where's the best place to launch?

Last time I was down there (last year) you could not launch any watercraft off the beach from the jetties to Marker 50 I think it was. That means you have to drive a couple of miles down Mustang Island to get far enough away. I think it was Beach Access road 2, but don't quote me on that.

we're not rollin with tim this time. me jr. and his sister are plannin on goin down next week and are tryin to figure out where to launch. we were hopin we could launch off the beach... suck

You can south side of Bob Hall pier. Had the beach patrol walk up to us and sell us the beach pass last year while we were chilling there, launching big skis is a little harder...
