leaky hood seal??Ski Wash = 1" of water in hull

so like the title says i started washing my ski knowing the inside is clean and dry. and after the wash i pulled the hood and saw a inch infront of the tank! so i suspect its the seal is this the case or could it be the back air intakes my from 3 are sealed and intacked. can i fix the seal maybe repair it wish superglue

just turn on your bilge pump next time you wash your ski. easy fix. and why are you washing your ski? dont you ride it in water ?

i know that but id rather see if it is cause of this rip and if water gets in during a was how much gets in in the surf

The front corners of all SJ's are prone to leaking if the hood seal isn't in good shape or installed correctly.

You can try to fix seal with Crazy Glue. Personally, I would just buy a new hood seal.

BTW: How did you rip the seal?

got it like that if i have to buy new seal for 120 ill live with the water and try superglue.

found my prob

i noticed a hole under the fire ext compartment to let water out well it kinda lets it in so i put a cup of water in it and in about 10 sec it was gone and started dripping out two areas where the hood and liner meet i will be using either 5200 or somthing to rebond the two parts. it shouldnt be leaky here the water inside has to go somwhere so i want it to go in the two air vent to the bottom of the hull.
