How bad is this for the ski? I assume as long as your foam isn't wet it should be ok. And that you have the battery out and gas stabil ran through the carb. Oh and she prefers it when i where a cover...keeps the "snow" out

the only problem is, you cant get all the water out without taking it apart.

drain the fuel, run it, blirp the gas a few times, store it nose up, so water runs out of the exhaust.

start the ski about once or twice thru the winter, and it will be just fine.

I stumble out in the snow once or twice, spill beer on my skis, and then start them up, and Ive never had any freeze related problems.

Please don't!! You know where I live and I'll store it for you for very cheap if not free. Snow is very bad on the paint and one winter is like 3 years of hard use. After Daytona, just leave your ski at in my barn.

I think kev is talking about the freeze/thaw variable making the paint peel. I really could care less about how it looks, it has always been about performance with me (unless we're talking women...then looks do count). My ski could use some paint...not until after winter though, if it ever gets done. I am really sick of the orange/silver with blue rn pole on it but for looks i'll buy a roundie.

Thanks for the offer kevin! i will have to hit you up for that! I'll be dropping her off soon enough anyway. Just need to finish up installing the rn bracket and some much needed hood hooks.
