650/X-2 lengthening stock pipe

has anyone messed with extending the chamber on the stock pipe? i was thinking about welding a piece of stainless on to the pipe to make it longer. thoughts??

I have seen it done, there are a few threads on here with people welding on two inches to the second half of the pipe

Wouldnt it be better to get the rpm up instead. Its hard to make more thrust at less rpm.

search cheater pipe, i extended the cone 4in, i got free scrap staneless, welded it up and got aloot more power along with drying it up with a bypass

I bought an x2 had a section of heavy duty marine exhaust hose in between the pipe in the cone that extended it a few inches.
