I got this 1990 650 Squarenose that im planning on put it through some big changes. The name that was given to this sj is 'ghetto'. (look at pictures to see) Im 18, and I dont make a whole lot of money. Put i plan on stripping it down to get it painted. Then changing the powerplant to a 94-95 701 and add some other goodies that i can afford. Turfing, Head, Pipe, Flame Arrester. But if you happen to have any 61x case motor parts laying around send me a p.m.. Here is what the boat looked like when i went and picked it up.

The duct tape with registration numbers has got to go.:biggrin:

The biggest upgrade you can do is throwing in a 701 so your on th right track. Everything will transfer over except for the 650 intake manifold and exhaust. So you will need to find a 61X intake and exhaust which you should find around here for cheap.

Thanks, i got the 650 out last night. Im goin to bead blast the 701, and paint it with some paint that wont corrode.(being that i live around saltwater) Here are some updated pics.

since you have a nice foot/glass door situation you should take advantage of the down time and finish stripping the hull
the degreaser we have @ work will do good on the grime in the hull

HA! If you think that sucks, try defoaming down to bare fiberglass to reinforce... THAT my friend is a pain in the ass.
