Found the issue (I think).... my X subscription expired last week. About that time I started seeing that URL problem. I just re-subscribed and now the problem is gone.

Subscribing shouldn't affect it. I'll do some more digging but I can't recreate the problem with any of FF/IE/Chrome so it's hard.

It has been happening to me running Fire Fox. I found that if you log in from the home screen, it will kick the error. If you go to forums then log in, it is no problem

I don't get the error but hitting the back arrow takes FOREVER to reload "New Posts" but just clicking new posts is very fast.
