Other Lonely people on stand ups ;-(

I ride... we ride... my girlfriend and I ride our standups.... alone ;-(
I saw a handful of stand up riders this year at the lake (lake lewisville TX)
and briefly spoke to one...

I see the big couchs zooming back and forth in a straight line... but that about all they can do....
I see the nice wakes boats booming their music with 3-4 bikini babes on board.....

then I see my girlfriend and i.... riding around on our standups..... we have fun together, but this fun
would be so much more shared with more standup riders.

Oh standup riders.... where art thou all gone??? please come back again like the hay days of jetskis
when 550s where the main class... come back ones again a bring true challenge! Fun! and Total Freedom that
riding a standup brings....

At least your GF rides with you. Sure more would be better but one is better than none. I'm sure there are other riders near you but you may have to drive a little further to ride with them.

i just got a stand up and i am bout 3 hrs from dallas so i will be looking for ppl to ride with next summer

I'm surprised how many stand ups there are at the lake I ride at, which by the way is in Colorado, farthest state from any beaches! On a day with not too many people stand ups out number the couches, on a really crowded day there will be like 8 stand ups not including me and my two.

I usually ride at Boyd in Loveland.

Dude, theres a big group of riders out of Tarrant County, like 8-10 of us. (Do Good Crew) We ride next to the marina near the damn and the Gaylord Texan, Off Sandbass Point, can't remember the name of the park, but if you google map Sandbass point, lake grapevine you should be fine. We ride there on Sundays, or at Lewisville.

Then theres the lewisville crew, that meets at Lake Park on Lake Lewisville. You're guarenteed to find someone out there on a Sunday.

my problem is that, my friends skis usually break, so then i work on it, and they end up riding my ski while i sit on the beach, so get friends with nice skis.

Normal Saturday usually has

My SXR, Superjet my friends SXR and Superjet.

Another 97 Superjet and 550, 11' SXR, 4 750's, FX1 thats always on the trailer, another FX1 my friend has, and a SN SJ.

Thats just the normal Saturday

Last Saturday I saw

- 4 SXR's (one 2011)
- 5 RN SJ's (one 2011)
- 4 FX1's (never seen 2 of them b4)
- 3 750's
- 2 650's
- 2 SN SJ's

Usually Satudays are mostly stand ups and Sundays are couches
