loss of power at top speed

I have an 03 superjet with a bpipe and tdr waterbox for things done to the engine. the jets were changed to match the specs on the motor.while riding it now it loses power and boggs down after running top speed no more then 3 seconds. carb tuning possibly!?!? bottom end and mid are fine

If you recently replaced it all, make sure new fuel line is secured well at all fittings and not sucking air.

I can see it now; 5 years from now, somebodies gonna post up a similar issue, I'm gonna post "did you check your fuel lines for cockroaches?" and I'm gonna sound crazy. I'll add this to "did you check your waterbox for a 3ft water moccasin?".

Glad you got it figured and in such a short time. That could have been much worse.

Live long enough and you will see all kinds of stuff that should never happen. There was story on here a couple years ago with a ski that wouldn't run or wouldn't run right and the owner cranked it up and revved it as hard as they could and finally blew a couple of snakes out of the exhaust.

My mother had her Dodge Dakota towed in to the dealer once because it wouldn't run right. The mechanic took awhile to figure it out but he was smiling pretty big once he finally did. A chipmunk had spent the entire night packing an entire bag of dry dogfood up into the air cleaner. Little bastard probably thought he had found the perfect hiding place.
