I had an early WCF hood. Held up great to rough riding, but heavy.
Now I've got a WDK Diablo. Can't judge that one yet.

Like my XFT a lot. It has a lip that hangs inside the hood seal area that keeps the hood from being knocked sideways. Light and strong. Very dry also.:bigok:

24/7 you can get a super light weight carbon hood or fiberglass hood and either option is built strong and will last.

I've got an xft hood and I love the thing, weighs next to nothing. It is his flatwater version and I have had my ski land right on the hood from at least 10' up. No cracks or anything, only a destroyed hood latch. He really knows how to make things out of carbon, just amazing stuff. :Banane09:

So far my favorite that I have used has been Wammers........ I love the old 24/7 hoods that Chris Maros made........ They were the standard.

I have a Watercraft Factory (first gen) had issues w/ the liner, but Steve is making me a new one 100% warantee... Can't beat that customer service... His 2nd-3rd gen hoods do not have that issue and have been corrected.. solid hood that looks very nice

I also Have a Waterdawg Diablo hood that has help up very well and has taken some really big hits w/ minor cracking and liner seperation (all stuff that will happen to any hood if you get inverted alot) This hood is a brick ********house.. cheap and heavy, but still lighter than stock Looks don't compare w/ the Watercraft Factory hood IMO...

The single, most important thing to remember about this post, IMHO.

Some people expect WAY too much from their equipment, especially considering the amount of abuse that some are capable of. :chairshot:

yeah.. I totally agree w/ ya

no hood will continuously hold up to beatings and bails and that's part of riding hard so expect to do repairs
