LS10 xs trim modification for easier pull

So I love my LS10 trim but it’s considerably harder to pull vs raptor. I moved the cable mount point on the lever arm and switched to odyssey lever with more throw and it’s now incredibly easy to pull and I can still get full trim throw. I’m talking 1 finger while on the throttle. Also now has way less stress on the cable. Just thought this might help some people out. One day when I have time I’ll cad up a different lever arm so it’s not so ugly.

Probably a dumb question, but what quick connect did you use? Did it come with the trim?

Does not come with it. In this picture it’s just an OEM steering cable end. I typically use a barrel nut and heim joint though. Phil sells them as does high speed or you can cobble it together with stuff from McMaster
