I hope i dont come off as a scum bag..... Its a sh!tty situation to say the least. Bad transactions happen too often and its a shame people out there will do this in our community.
Gomez seems to be an overly nice guy and an even better rider. Hes taken this sport to a new level and positively promotes it like no other. Hes a freeride legend and roll model for most riders. He rides the best skis, has the best sponsors, and rides better than anyone i know.. Why donate to a "go fund me" account for a hull he got back.....

I see your point but these guys spend a ton and make not much off of competitions including what sponsors help with . I have questions myself on somethings in this sport but it's not the place . I'd be bummed to see one of the best riders not be able to compete because of a scumbag that tried to get over on him . (Meaning the money he had got used for a ticket versus comp cost ) I'd donate but poop I'm poor in a rich mans hobbie/sport

He can also get a loan from a bank to cover the immediate cost and spread out the payment over time. That's what I would do. Or my credit card. I wouldn't ask for money from strangers.
Not that I have a problem with his gofundme. Because those WHO WANT TO HELP will donate money. People who dont want to...wont. I'm happy with anyone's choice and don't need to argue against someone being nice.

Lol....he didnt ask for a go fund me. It was started out of the goodness of someone else's heart and people donated. I donated. He is such a role model for this sport and the future of this sport. Sure, he has big sponsors, but I guarantee I make more money per year than he does and I still find this sport hard to afford. This sport doesnt pay out like motocross or other motorsports. And we are helping a brother in need....a brother who was screwed by a scum bag, who was then helped by the surf sluts to get a very expensive piece of personal property back and could use a little help recovering. Dont be that jealous person saying "ohhhhhhhh well I could have used a gofundme when I wanted to/needed to "insert example here". Help out or dont help out...but dont be a debbie downer.
Who are you pointing this towards ? I don't think anyone including myself were being serious about the needing a go fund me it was all joking aside . Not sure if u read my first reply on here . I support him as a rider and def is one of my favorites . Cool ass guy hope the guy makes it home safely . sucks being stuck outta town and trying to look for ways to make it .

I agree with you 100%. But on another not why did he trust this random dude with I'm sure at least 8000-10000 dollar hull with goodies? I'm not arguing any facts. The guy is a f tard and a degenerate. As far as donating to him I'm not against it. I don't have extra to donate to him. And I wish him All the luck in his travels.
