Mastering "The Power Sub" trick

Id like to practise and master the power submarine on stand up craft. I have both 650sx and 550.
Is there any write ups, informational videos and or popular stickies/treads that speaks on trick.

there should be a "trick database" on this fourm.....

i know dis mang, thats why im asking for a write up or video, best seems to be this iceman vid on youtube.
all those power sub/turn sub treads are dead ends....

looks like the boat has to rock from sten ride, to plain, to nose down in a sharp amount of seconds. any advice??

It kinda depends on the ski. My 650/750 all you had to do was put your right foot in the front corner, lean foward, and down it went. My other 650 i couldn't get under no matter what i tried, although that was a while ago.

I usually do it by going slightly below planing speed, then push down the front while learning foward while cranking right and i was under.

You kinda just gotta commit and practice, but i used to do it on a 650sx..

Right foot on left front of front corner. slow down a bit so nose lowers. lift handlepole up as you move forward and have your left foot on left rail. I don't think I needed to lean my body much because you're more or less "pivoting the ski down". And I would press throttle while turning left sharply.

You just practice a few times. Get wet, its fun. You'll figure it out pretty quickly because not every ski is the same.

You gotta manhandle it. Push on the bars and lean down and throttle deep. Depending on how buoyant your ski is makes it more of a challenge. It's not something you're gonna get perfect first try, but they're fun.. til you sink it bad!

sweet guys, now just gota wait on a throttle cable.
I just bought a new finger throttle, and it just came. I optd for the blackish one, you know the lorenz product. there is only 2 throttles on ebay.

anyways, hope i can maybe convert the throttle too using a barrel nut/ throttle niple setup

While idling, stand on the hood or front portion of the top of the gunwales, put the pole all the way up and lean on the bars and get on the gas as the nose starts to dive. Or like the guys above said, turn sub it, get up in the front of the tray, low speed, pole up, crank the bars and get over the nose. The trick is to get the nose to dive and the pump to hookup so you don't just spin and cavitate.
